About our group

We are a group of students from California State University, Northridge. We are conducting a group project for our communications 323 course, and there are six of us in all.
​
We all felt that we had a personal interest in providing not only a fun day for children, as some of us are parents ourselves, but an event that could open doors for possible future interest in either equestrian activities or involvement with animals as a whole.
It's also a nice way to get kids away from their electronic devices and enjoy some fun outside.
About the Location

Four Winds Ranch, Agoura Hills is a charter member of the United States Pony Club, a non-profit organization that teaches horsemanship and the care of the horse to young people through the age of 25. Located in Agoura Hills, California, the club is also are part of the Camino Real Region located in Southern California. Like other Pony Clubs, we are an educational organization that provides the opportunity to learn riding, mounted sports and the care of horses and ponies. The goal is to develop the characteristics of responsibility, moral judgment, leadership and self-confidence in our members.
Pony Club is unique in that its educational programs place equal emphasis on the teaching of riding skills, horse-care fundamentals, and team participation with sportsmanship.
